Victorian Duplex Apartment Renovation & Remodel - Cheshire

From the outset, this was a highly collaborative design. The clients’ own business specialises in luxury doors and wall materials, so the project became a creative partnership, merging our architectural and interior design expertise with their passion for materials and craftsmanship.

The ground floor was reconfigured to create a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining space, anchored by a custom bay-window dining nook overlooking the gardens. We installed new metal stud walls throughout to achieve perfectly true surfaces, improved acoustics between apartments through specialist soundproofing, and introduced modern period-inspired detailing, including large skirtings, bespoke coving and refined transitions between each finish.

Every junction and material change was carefully considered. From inlaid carpets meeting marble tiling to the seamless joinery lines, the apartment embodies a boutique hotel level of precision.

Phase one focused on the primary living level and master suite, with the upper floor due for completion in phase two. The clients’ commitment to quality and design rigour resulted in one of the most refined homes we’ve delivered, a true showcase of what’s possible when vision, trust and detail align.
